Avish Khebrehzadeh is an Iranian-born, Rome-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice encompasses drawing, animation, video, and installation, often exploring themes of memory, identity, displacement, and the unconscious. Her delicate, dreamlike works frequently feature figures in states of transformation or vulnerability, drawing on Persian miniature traditions, mythology, and personal narrative to create hauntingly poetic imagery. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and various European galleries, earning her recognition as a distinctive voice in contemporary Iranian diaspora art.
