Oscar Niemeyer

Oscar Niemeyer was a Brazilian architect and designer, considered one of the most influential modernist architects of the 20th century. Known for his innovative use of reinforced concrete and his collaboration with Lúcio Costa and Le Corbusier, he designed iconic buildings including the Cathedral of Brasília and the Ministry of Education building in Rio de Janeiro. His work combined modernist principles with social and political activism.
